My approach is simple...meet each person where they are at. Find out what has them there. Find out where they want to be. And collaborate together on an approach to get there. Along the way, we identify what trips us up, what gets in the way, what is revealed, what is helpful, and what is harmful. We look for unique outcomes. We separate the problem from the person. We identify the stressor, and the stress. And then we overcome it. Several modalities are used including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Emotional-Focused Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, and others - depending on the need. One thing is for sure, whatever you are discovering, you don't have to do it alone.
